The Concours 2007

I am getting back to my blog. I had a setback. I lost my mom on July 11. My brother and I went to the Concours in Lexington just recently. It is a really nice car show. As you can tell from previous pictures that I like old cars. I hope you enjoy. This is an annual event and they showcase a different car each year.

Saw a Stadium that looked like a Huge Silver Blimp or Spaceship that had landed

I just got back from Tolleson, Arizona. You never know where work may send me.

It is not far from Phoenix, just down the road a ways. I never thought I would see Palm Trees. I was looking for cactus but there were more palms that cactus. The Palm Trees look like they have a spiked hairdo. I don't know if it is there way of saying they love it there or they are begging for water.

I am Back and Blogging Again

Hello Friends,
I have been extremely busy this past year. Took a new job and moved to a different City. I had boxes up to my ears. But I was able to go to the Rolex. Here are some photos.

It was a beautiful day but we could not get real close because of the crowd of people.

It really feels great to have time to do a little blogging again. I have alot of catching up to do.

ROSEBUDS & HANGING BASKETS

A teenage granddaughter comes downstairs for her date with this see-through blouse on and no bra. Her grandmother just pitched a fit, telling her not to dare go out like that!

The teenager tells her, "Loosen up Grams. These are modern times. You gotta let your rose buds show!," and out she goes.

The next day the teenager comes down stairs, and the grandmother is sitting there with no top on. The teenager wants to die.

She explains to her grandmother that she has friends coming over and that it is just not appropriate.....

The grandmother says, "Loosen up, Sweetie. If you can show off your rose buds, then I can display my hanging baskets."Happy Gardening.(This is too funny not to share!)

My Beautiful Rose Bush!!!! Make offer!!!! I may sell it if the offer is tempting enough. It blooms like this every year!!!!

It would have to be a very good offer for me to part with such unbelieveable beauty year after year.
